The survey asked people how likely they are to purchase the candy they’re most interested in and found that the average person would buy a chocolate bar over a cookie, while a person who is a fan of peanut or almond butter would prefer to buy a candy bar.

The respondents also said that candy bars were the least appealing to them and that they preferred to buy them in bulk.

The USA Today survey, which was conducted Jan. 1-7, 2018, surveyed 1,531 adults ages 18 and older nationwide.

The data was weighted by age and sex to make the results comparable to other national polls.
